  2. Sacrilege ! Garlic has its place but not on sprouts and dare I say not in Christmas lunch .I boil as normal and then pop in a small saucepan of very hot butter for approx 3-4 mins . My local curry house are great for using seasonal veg and sneak them in the vegetable curry . Merry Christmas to everyone

Strawberry jam on your Yorkshire puddings make them less grimmer.

. The sprouts are very much for dinner (at lunch time)

next you’ll tell me I shouldn’t have gravy on a fry up

    Sprouts.... yum.
Cut in half, a quick turn in the microwave to soften 'em up (steaming or par boiling also an option), then into the frying pan with bacon and chestnuts. Lovely.

    Tofu in thoughtful hughl
Actually as Yorkshire pudding batter is virtually identical to pancake and waffle batter, it works a treat.
