As I was sitting in all the traffic this evening, after going to pick up an eBay spares or repair rotorvator for the allotment. I thought. Its alright. I am sitting in my bus. I dont care about the traffic.
Noticeably more low end grunt, a bit less at the top end : the old engine showed scary signs of coming on tune around 5000 rpm; around 50mph in 3rd it hadnt stopped winding up... The new one seems to want to be more sensible. Even though both have the same carb and exhaust and ignition system. Or is that just the remembered sound of burning tenners ? I dont seem to have to thrash it as hard to get up to speed.
