My mrs complains I’m always bright and cheerful particularly early mornings and when I come back from work. She says my chirpy character and constant happy whistling is driving her mad and it will probably end with her giving me a good kicking! My question is. Should I move to Australia and cheer up Mrs Terrordales? PS, I may have overdone the chirpiness bit and possibly the smiling and whistling bit too, but surely I am a better alternative than old grumpy socks?
Funny you should say all that my wife says I'm too happy in the mornings I'm always singing or whistling, she says I'm a 60 year old child
I see myself more as a unladen Dutch barge sagging ever so slightly in the middle sporting a slightly pained smile
There's no place here for cheeriness and positivity, don't you know this is a forum for grumpy, moany folks? Pah, the youth of today etc etc etc
Pffft, not in my day, they don't know whats good for them. Probably some plumber masquerading as a heating engineer eh @Merlin Cat, now then where did I put my Tin Hat??
oi I am a heating engineer!! ps @bernjb56 i saw that btw but was too busy threading daisys into my hair to respond
wait till it’s cold @Merlin Cat then pop round his house and cap the gas off. He’ll understand the difference between a heating engineer and a plumber then. not that I’d ever condone such behaviour. Obviously. Upstanding members of the community that us engineers are.
You sound like the Queen Mum, always smiling. Just like a simpleton* * sorry, couldn’t resist, that was written in her book of remembrance.
Nope, definitely Grumpy according to Ms.T ........... which of course is a total lie as I'm like a little sunbeam of happiness.
