WANTED Hand brake warning light lens on dash

Hello

I'm after the clear round lens for the handbrake warning light on the dash of a late bay Westy. Tiny item I know but every time i look at the dash it annoys me. The old one just crumbled like sugar!

There was a group buy on here a while ago for them from a company in Germany I think

 

There was indeed. I did it a few weeks ago. They're available from Bus-OK.de but the carriage is 19 euros so if you can organise another group buy it would be better. They have quite a few bits not available in the UK.

Mine is also white, perhaps its a USA thing as mine is from there and also breaking up. Thought about putting a clear varnish over the light to seal and fix.

 

I’d be interested in getting a couple, I ordered one a few month back and it never turned up.

Yes I think you're right about usa spec. Coz I'm pretty sure mine was original. I would varnish it while you can coz mine just turned to grains!

There was a bloke at the stonor park show near Henley this year who had a batch but I lost his card. ( he didn't have them at the show). His name was Terry of Terry's beetle parts or something and he had a stall. It wasn't Luke of Terry's beetles I know that much!

Does anyone know who it could be or have a contact for him?
A long shot I know!

Did a group buy get sorted out?
As previously posted, Bus.de sell the lenses for 8.80 euros, but shipping to the UK is 18.90 euros.
Would anybody else like to chip in with me??
I don't mind doing all the logistics.

Lets give it a couple of days, to see if anybody else is interested.

FYI, just been reading their delivery and shipping info.
I can pay them for shipping and items by paypal,
but we may have to pay a customs fee......with a bit of luck it won't.
Once I have them, I'll split the charges, post etc equal between us all.
I'm not out to make money.
I'm glad to do this, and to get these hens teeth lenses
