Halloween at Hayfield C&C site SK22 2LE 28-30th October 2016

Does anyone fancy a weekend at this lovely little site?

A few of us went last year and had an encounter with zombies followed by a large owl sitting next to our vans, ok so this actually turned out to be a drunk man and a cat but it was still a very funny weekend.

There are 5 pubs in the village so lots of choice plus anyone feeling adventurous can walk up Kinder Scout during the day.

It's the last weekend of their season and when I checked at the weekend they still had 15 hard standing pitches with hook-up left.

My son is coming home that weekend from Holland so will wait til we know his plans before we can commit. Hopefully will be able to get over for part of it.

In addition to you lot Zoe has booked herself into the George and another couple of friends not on TLB are also coming.

So this has got me thinking! I assume Friday will be the usual fun with possibly communal food etc, I plan on bringing the party tent so we have somewhere to squash into if it rains.
Do people want to go out for food on Saturday? There are a few choices but I think we need to make a quick decision as there's going to be a fair few of us - so what is the consensus? Who wants to eat out?
