Blimey this is growing I'll add the new ones when I'm at my pc next. I'll call them tomorrow to check stock levels too, before collecting dosh.
what are they for?!??? That means i probably need them too - bloody nora, can't i just use some decorators caulk and be done?
The two part ones are for the rear wheel arches - there's about 6 million of them in each arch so that you can squirt the s50 very accurately around in a beautiful semi-circle. I thought I'd just drill out one and wave my nozzle around a bit more wildly
good thinking batman... i haven't got to the rears yet but put me down for two too @Mark Darby I'll have what she's 'avin' I did mean to look into all of this but i forgot and got too giddy with the grit blaster and degreaser!
They fit into a small box together with a selection of O-rings, gaskets, small nuts and bolts, self-tapping screws and the seal that is supposed to go behind the instrument cluster.
OK (pardon the pun), I've spoken to the German shop and they will have the oval bungs in stock in one week. Worth waiting rather than paying 5% extra on everything from Holland. He says they will have enough stock to cover our order. So far 19 people on the list, so the carriage from Germany is down to 0.99 euros each I'll obviously keep the list open for any new additions for the next week while we wait.
Doug do you mean the 50x14mm(approx) oval holes on the inside of the rear valance? Mine are open too - I don't know if there is a bung for there. Anybody?
Nope, the round ones about 12mm across (can’t measure them, I’m 2000 miles away) on the outside, either side of the rear valance.
I think I just got a cheap bung variety pack off eBay and one size of those fitted snuggly in the holes by the rear valance. Seem to be doing the job.
