Well I think this has to win worst aftermarket part design. I wondered why it didn't pump any water when it was half full. Bought from JK and it isn't cheap. No attempt at a pickup pipe whatsoever. The inlet is hose pipe size and if it isn't completely covered, obviously won't suck. So I jammed a piece of washing machine hose in it and a suitably bent piece of 8mm kunifer in that. With a notch to stop it blocking on the tank bottom Works a treat. 2/10 JK for providing the parts they did. Really poor design.
Isolated the non working indicators to the switch, so off it came. Bugger That bit of the casting has snapped off There's no mending that. Anyone got a spare they'll sell me please? @davidoft ?
That's crazy. The stock ones aren't much better TBH - there's just not enough water in the damn things. I'd leave a review on the JK website as a warning to others.
