After the shenanigans with my ignition woes I decided to take the bus to work today . Started on the button and drove faultlessly , although there was ice on the inside of the screen !! Had to pop out this afternoon and my youngest said ' can we go on the camper ?' , yeah why not ! She was grinning from ear to ear . Met the wife later and she said ' can I take it for a drive !' Chucked her the keys and off she went , came back grinning from ear to ear ! Seems to be infectious , smiling and vw campers ! Makes all the previous woes worthwhile
I will admit that on 2nd Jan we parked the Westy up, took it for the Mot end of Jan then parked it back up & I kinda couldn't be bothered with it..so it's been sat unused Last weekend we went to friends for the weekend, I wanted to take the Audi but we took the Westy instead and it drove like an absolute dream, was batting up the M1 really well (it did get a bit hair raising in the wind though). Today I've been helping lowie with his engine , it's been lovely and sunny, we made good progress & I now feel refreshed - the Westy needs a good wash and brush up - next weekend & I'm on it! I know exactly what you mean with your post
I drive mine as often as I can, even the mundane commute to work becomes a pleasurable stress free drive
