Wayoutwestie has compiled an informative article on the effects of ethanol on fuel hoses. I think most of us know how important it is to regularly check fuel hoses for perishing to prevent fuel leaks & fires. https://www.wayoutwestie.com/aircooled-tech/ethanol/
Strange though, the lower grade recommended/tested petrol hose is rated to 50 degrees C by Cohline And the higher temperature rated hose he checks is a bio-Diesel not petrol hose. Even the lower rated hose withstands much higher temperatures when filled with diesel.. I still prefer the Goodridge 200 stainless braided... 150 degrees C and almost any vehicle fuel .. https://www.heritagepartscentre.com...-steel-braided-fuel-hose-5-5mm-per-metre.html
