Gluing foam ...

I`m fitting a slightly wider bed and need to make the bed foam about 5 inches wider - have foam ...
Anyone suggest a glue to add the 5 inch strip to existing bed ??

I thought along those lines too but seem to remember it can melt the foam ??

Copydex (?) rings a bell , wondering if anyone has tried the stuff ...

Screw fix no nonsense spray stuff. Try a bit first on a non critical area but it's pretty good for the price.
3m do a spray able upholstery foam adhesive but I'd try the sfix stuff first.

 

Foam glue- it foams but sticks like....................

 

Screw fix do a spray glue i think its called ninja glue its in a purple tin its better than 3m glue

 

Depending on the foam you can use as above or spray foam but test it first as some solvent base glues will dissolve the foam

Note to self .....

 

I used heat resistant upholsterers spray adhesive when I did my seats .

 

That`s a good point , carpeteers use the sprayglue stuff .
Carpet is `usually foam backed
