Tried to log in and told my username did not exist! I re-registered with the same username and a different password. Why has all the content been lost? Any decent host would have a backup service.
This happening has been a terrible chain of poor luck. Our host did everything they should have done, but have been buggered by sods law. We now have a better backup system ourselves so this can never happen again.
Thanks for that news HorTs. I was thinking an own backup was the answer. For it definitely not to happen again make sure that there is a backup of the backup!
as big as the site looked please remember it wasn't even 2 years old. v2 was less than a year old. as said it was a chain of bad luck but i have my whole trust in horts. i'd also like to say thanks to those who are rejoining.
