I really need one of these, but god knows how much it would cost for someone to weld it in properly, it's beyond my welding skills.
I still look at thinking it might prompt me to do something about mine. Anyone got a ball park of what it would cost to get it welded in place?? I might have a ring round and see.
Its a piece of string thing reall. I got it to repair mine and ended up with a full front panel - airbox - the works. In fact the bits i thought were ok under the screen werent. I would frighten you if i told you how much it cost me. Lets just say the complete front panel I had fitted (Inner and outer with airbox) retailed about £400 before they became obsolete!
It depends if you're fixing crash damage or rust, and if rust how rusty is it and surrounding area. Nobody will give you quote without seeing it unless they've been a brain donor in the past. Post some pics for a rough idea.
It's not rusty at all, it's just dented where the p/o hit a deer or something, then thought it would be a good idea to fill it with bondo. Not the best pic, but it's not hiding any nasties.
personnally id look to get most of that pulled out .A decent body shop should be able to make a decent job without replacing the panel ???
