George clarks Amazing spaces ch 4 watch this

I don't get on with George, its he's voice its just don't sit well with me ears.

 

I think it's a new series - I heard him on the radio the other day. He's turning an old ambulance into a campervan tonight.

 

Nope - new series.

 

He's a Washington lad like myself, I think he went to Oxclose school and I can almost guarantee that he's the only one from there with that accent. He's a lad done good but It annoys me when they try and disguise the accent, Bit like Robson Green. Didn't like the camper ambulance much

 

We thought the ambulance was a clever use of the space.

 

Found it a bit irritating actually .... Where did they keep all that bedding when they were not using it?

 

I know it's called Amazing Spaces but i really wish he'd find another adjective instead of 'amazing' ....

Liked the ambulance conversion, but reckon they'll be struggling in the rain with all those kids ... (they even have to have the back doors open to get the bed bits out, so they'll need a canopy or something at the back to stop the inside getting soaked when it's raining...)

 

I dislike greatly this type of prog that keeps resting bits all the way through.

 

I thought they'd have put a pop top in, each to their own I suppose

 

That was my first thought but then thought it would spoil the lines of the van.

 

Wasn't impressed with the interior of the old ambulance really. ..

 

Oh come on guys - it was cute and each to their own - true , where you would put six pairs of shoes, get your Jim jams on, have a tinkle, and avoid the dog , wash up, clean up etc etc - but we do it with four ( and an awning!)

 

I'm liking tonight's viewing but the Bertie wasn't for me ultimately.

 

I would roll in the ambulance and live in the fish tank cellar ,the ball thing was a bit carpe.....

I loved last year when he sited his caravan, it looked well secluded until the camera panned right and more people had the same idea ,neighbours no thank you...

 

Ive watched it on 40d and i think they did ok with the ambulance
The phases they went through is what most vw bus owners go through

How can you pee in the sink when your beds on top of it. I suppose its 5 girls verus 1 bloke.

I you tubed the fish tank and asked mrs lef if she wanted one ,straight away she said" where are you going to get the fish?"

 

We happened to see the antithesis of this programme last night "Rock My RV" ... on the Travel channel if you get Freeview. Over the top old American RV's fitted out to make them more over the top! Yuk!!! (but somehow addictive!).

That does look good with the twin cab land rover. Its just a great programme all-round, seeing what idea's people have.
I have an idea of having a fold out decking that slides from under the bus were the step would sit under the sliding door. Or have a fold out extension ? Just my thoughts lol
