Hi all, got my gearbox off on the bench, can I jet wash the whole unit? Not sure if this will affect any seals. Cheers for looking
I wouldn’t, if you get water in the breather ‘ole it won’t do it any good. The breather is in the nose cone at the top next to the bolt. I suppose you could block the hole but I still wouldn’t jet wash the box unless it’s going to be stripped and overhauled.
