I am not actually sure what the code is...... Tried cleaning around it but gave uo and it rained all the time so gave up because of that and I wasn't getting anywhere. In brief. Bought what I thought was a 2 ltr gearbox (ebay drunk or something ..) then got it sent to A1 transmissions to recondition it, which they did and then they told me it was a 1600. Contacted the, last year to see if they had any documents or details but they don't keep records for too long. I think this was about 5-8 yrs ago? it has been in the shed since then. I laid £x for the box and then £350 for reconditioning it. Now I guess there are things that need doing to make it all smooth and running safely? I need ti do shed roof up and fed up not being able to get in.... So if anybody wants a bargain priced gearbox and can get to Anglesey (weekend or early evening possibile) then you could have a bargain gearbox.. I know nothing about gearboxes except they are heavy and oily. £200 if you collect within a fortnight but not during the Welsh rugby match against the Australians
