  2. Arse......... Just ordered one... But then, they do say Sun Canopy...I'll just have to set up a 5mile breaking wind exculsion zone..

Best to leave Mrs B at home!!

  3. na, get a gazeebo mate .

    ^they are flimsy as feck

  4. I have reviewed a sun canopy in the product review section. It's by kyham. Quite good in the wind if tensioned properly. I have even put a 10 % discount code on there to use.
VFC01 (code should work on all kyham products)

  6. I have one also, used it at Techenders in slight wind and was fine, used it at JK open day in stronger wind and it fell down in the night, but in general I would say its reasonable.
I did have better success using the Kyham figure of 8 gutter clamping system than the one provided with the funky leisure canopy which was the metal clamps. but what I did was still use the metal clamps loosely over the figure of 8 thing (does that make sense ?)

  7. We've got one of their blue ones and used it with no problems. It's quite nice using it camping, saves the hassle of whacking up the awning.
In bad weather ive just had the first section out and the second bit down pegged and ties to the ground next to the pole for a bit of shelter.

  8. Well I went ahead and bought one, ... ::)

I have used it several times, mainly to keep the rain off... During the first week I took it sown every night.. As I don't think it wuld take too much wind to wreck it, however it is not made to withstand force ten gales.

It is easy to erect and takedown..

Excellent piece of kit if you haven't an awning, great porch area for eating under hiding away from the rays or the showers.

All in all I am happy with it... Well done FunkyLeisure ^-^ ^-^

I think it did very well with last weekends weather. And far easier to dry and store than my gazebo.
