  1. so i have finally sorted all my odds and sods ready for the beast to get MOT'd......the only problem is the full beam lights are constantly on when the lights are turned on and the blue light on the dash is on, the wiring looks all correct, i have been over the circuit about 100 times but i cant figure out the problem lol is there anything obvious im missing or has anyone had this problem before?

  2. Headlight relay faulty? Does it click when you pull the indicator stalk toward you?
Can you flash the headlights? (NB: may not work on an imported bus)

  3. change the headlight relay , located behind the fusebox - job done !

    :hattip:

  4. Cheers dudes that is what I was thinking, it doesn't click when I pull the lever back......will get a new one :)

  5. Before you buy a new relay give the bulbs a quick check as one filament can blow and touch against the other giving you the stuck on high beam effect like the switch isn't working

  6. ah ok dude will check it out tonight cheers :)

is your bus american? can you normally flash lights? if not buying a european relay requires a small mod to make it work.

  8. I had this the day before my MOT. it started randomly flashing from low to high and then just stayed on High. I took the relay out and have the teminals a clean and put it back. all seems to be good now

If it's an original relay (plastic with a metal cover) you can prize the cover off and sort the inside of the relay. If it's all plastic they're not repairable.
