Just test fitted my fuel tank and noticed a gap.... Every thing seems snug, anyone know if its alright? Cheers david
pretty sure mine was similar to that, will have a look while underneath tomorrow. as long as its solid when the straps are bolted down......
The felt pads between the tank underside and the platform must be around 6 - 8mm thick so there will be a gap.
I'd forgotten that bit...the absence of which allows a build up of crud in the worst possible place! Good job one of us is awake.
i think answers like this should be banned! i had neither, so will now spend the rest of my bus ownership in a constant state of worry
Damn . . . . . . I was so happy a few minutes ago as well. sob...sob...sob What makes it even worse is the fact that I'm supposed to be doing my accounts. Procrastination is alive and well. There's loads of days until 31st Jan.
Cheers everyone - do we think that the foam will plug my gap or do I need to tap my repairs down a bit more (read go mad with hammers...)
