Iv'e read the posts on fitting a new sender but for the avoidance of doubt is the correct procedure as follows:-
When standing at the back of the bus and looking towards the front the sender arm should be in the tank at 3 o'clock and then turned clockwise to the 6 o'clock position.

    Thanks for looking.

IIRC there is only one way it will fit because of the narrower slot. Have senders have changed to cause this confusion, IDK?

Three hours seems a long time to fit a sender.

Done a tracing of the opening in the fuel tank and it looks like the sender will be placed in at about 10 o'clock and then turned anticlockwise to lock at 9 o'clock.

    Thanks for advice 20230904_100532.jpg
