WANTED Fuel pump for type 4 engine

I need a fuel pump, rear number plate bulb holder and a steering damper if anyone has these sitting about in their garage.

Fuel pump either secondhand or I did see a nos one for sale on thesamba.com

 

Have you lost your fuel pump? I have one you can have but I haven't got the rod (£24 from cool air) and you would probably want a rebuild kit (£30 from cool air, other retailers may also have these parts ) A new one is £60 so may not be the best approach?

I removed this from my engine and made a cover for the hole, the PO converted to electric pump so it was only catching oil leaks! Having said that I have no idea why they converted to electric, there isn't much to them and the internals are there.

I am still looking.
The one on the samba is for a type 1 engine.

I have an electronic one fitted but its just
letting tonnes of fuel into the engine causing loads of smoke out the exhaust.

I'm mo mechanic so need something that is fully working and can fit straight in.

I will try to test it on Friday when I go back to the workshop.

You best bet is to fit a pressure regulator before the carbs

 

£20? for injection engines but it is too powerful for carbs you need
