  1. Hi, having just bought a camper and not worked on the engine before, can anybody tell me what this steal tube is? It positioned just before the filter.

you need to remove the fuel filter from the engine area mate & relocate under the panel where the tank sits - have a search on here, there is a few topics on the subject!

Paul - what does the tube have written on it?

  6. It just has part number, no manufacturer. Thanks for the advice about the filter location!! First job is to replace all the fuel lines.

fuel line change = piece of mind! On our buses I'm toying of swapping them every three years, for the cost of the lines, its a drop in the ocean really!

  11. its not 1 of them lead replacement gizmos is it. not seen 1for ages though. they have little lead balls which when fuel runs through they jiggle about releasing small about of lead. so putting lead in unleaded fuel. can remember a stand at dubfreeze must be 10 years ago selling them. i may be wrong, i usually am. lol. :D
