Fuel gauge replacement

Hello,

Anybody know if you can buy a replacement fuel gauge? Or if the prototype bay one will work in a 78 late bay?

The gauge from an early wont work its a balanced type, is it the gauge or vibrator/stabalizer thats gone, theres loads on here about it

 

Usually its the sender. And the after market ones read wrong.

 

Yeah, I’ve replaced the sender. I think I buggered the gauge attempting to fix it. The pin moves up then reaches a certain point and drops back down.

Later ones come up for sale occasionally second hand. Don’t think new ones are available anymore.
