Fuel filter,

  1. I have just fitted and new fuel pump which has a filter joined to it which fits between tank and pump,
The question is do I need another one between pump and carbs,
    Steve,

  2. no need for a second filter the one from the tank will also protect the pump. Just ensure you have it fitted near or under the tank and not in the engine bay.

  3. A second filter won't do anything ;). One's enough (after the tank, under the van).

  4. Don't know why every thread about fuel filters everyone panics about fitting them in the engine bay, as long as you carry out regular maintenance on filter/pipes I don't see it as an issue.
