Hi all Does it matter I fit my malpassi filter king regulator/filter on the firewall above the height of the carbs? Type 4 with weber 34 ICT, electric pump, fuel cut off. Also got a filter directly after tank thx.
Shouldn't matter, but I fitted mine on the rear tin so I could drop the engine without too much disconnecting. Maybe that position would clash with something on your installation.
I was told to avoid fitting it on anything that vibrates a lot. Think instructions say the same. The person who first told me that later mounted it on the fan housing! Hope that helps.
Tux guys, reckon I could probably get mine in the same location as yours Zed as there's not a lot going on above the engine case on the type 4.
