front shocks

  1. looking for some advice, need to change my front shocks, me bus is lowered couple of inches, just need advice on which shocks to go for , thought it would be best to ask from the people that have already been there done that cheers nige

  3. nice one, yeah mines got adjusters too so to get correct measurement, i have to take shocks off, am i rite in thinking this??

    Yes definitely, I waited until my van was finished with interior etc, spare wheel on board. Then remove the front shocks, roll the van back n forth a to settle everything and the take the mount to mount measurement. I should add that I eventually completely removed my bumpstops and the arms. Unless I had the shocks set near solid the suspension crashed into the stops. With them removed, too soft and your wheels can hit the underside of the wheel tubs, hence needing the 15 levels of adjustment on the shocks they sell. I will return everything to stick height one day;) But this does allow me to get my van in the garage in the short term.
     
  5. Mines lowered on a Slamwerks beam & Dropped Spindles. I couldn't find a shock up to the job so I'm on Coilover shocks now.
