Got the shocks off the beam and I want to check if there ok or not. They have resistance if you push them in and pull em out but they do not expand on there own accord. Is this right or are they fubard?
If they're oil filled, they should just show stiff resistance going in or out (and no leaks). Quite a good way of building up your pecs ... Oops, para's already said that...
On the other hand, you can think air ones are fine until you compare with a new one. Lean on it and count. My new ones were twice as stiff and exact same model when I tried this.
