Front belly pan

Anyone got a photo of a front belly pan in situ on a bay please? I've bought one to fit and need to see where it attaches to.

Haven't got a pic, but it attaches using three large self tappers at the rear, plus one large self tapping bolt at the front. If you hold it up against the frame members underneath, you'll see where the holes are.

Cheers, I'll take a look (probably be once the snow has gone now ). My only concern is that if it's relying on captive nuts in the chassis - this van looks like it hasn't had a bellypan on for quite some time, so I don't fancy my chances of finding a useable thread.

All the holes are self tapped. The rear self tappers are quite large. The single front is also tapped - no captive nut. If the front thread is knackered, you can tap in to M6 or M8 (forget) and put a standard bolt in it.

Thanks, but don't need a pic of the belly pan itself - I have one of those sat in my garage freshly delivered from Sussex Camper Parts.

If the single front hole is too rusted out for tapping it is possible to wiggle a bolt through from above using one of the limber holes. A thin nut from underneath will then hold it in place, granted there will be an air gap between the front edge of the pan and the chassis member but it won't protrude below it.

It'll make your van sound like a flute as it's going along. Brilliant !
