WANTED Front beam

Discussion in 'Late Bay Parts Classifieds' started by icepug, Jun 10, 2013.

  1. For a 71 bay. Cheap as possible as I may have to sell a kidney or two.

  2. I have (with the help of dubdubz) put a narrowed beam on the bus with TH dropped spindles. Which means that I have the standard beam for sale with the rollbar. Below are a few pics..

Complete Beam with ARB attached with poly mounts

The only hole I can find is the one on the bottom corner here

I don't really know what they go for.. Shall we say £175 with the ARB and bushes? I am open to offers.

The beam is currently in Peterborough, I am in Sheffield this week, then in Brecon next week, before moving the week after to Tewkesbury, so going to be on the road, can meet up with you Along A14/M6/M42/M5 or look into postage if you want??

The missus will be in all next week and the week after if you wanna collect as beds aint too far from Wittering.

    Cheers

  3. Hi icepug how bad is your beam? I have one stripped down a couple of holes that will need welding up going cheap £40.00 if you interested I will put some pics up..

  4. Beams not good, let me have a look at your pics as I have to way up the cheapest option and if it needs to much work it may not be viable :(

  6. Hi icepug I have just been and had another look at my beam and it's not as good as I thought it was several holes like the one above. It did have one but the more I poked it the more I found I would look for a rust free one if your going to go to the effort of changing it they seem to rust from the inside out they fill up with water.
Mine looks like it is only good to have the ends chopped off and narrowed.

  7. Drama over, thanks to superfunkyfresh. He's actually a really nice guy
