Just been informed that on my bus (which I am hoping to un-lower) the front beam has been lowered by cutting and welding and therefore not returnable to its original height! Wondering if: Anyone has a front beam that they wanted to sell? Anyone want a lowered front beam? Would anyone like to swap beams? Ps it is a '73 RHD Patrick

I'd love my bus to stand like that and would swap in an instant, however my beam has a couple of patch repairs on it (good enough to get through its mot last month) and I'm sure you would want an un-fettled beam in return.

Hi there. Thanks for your replies. Well, I'm in a quandary. I have been offered a garage to store the bus in (for this winter anyway) trouble is that it only just fits in under the door. Seems to have put all my unlowering plans on hold for the mo. this all might change as the van is due to be welded up soon and the guy who is welding it might say that the front beam needs changing anyway, in which case I will have to re think. Will let you know
