I recently got dometic crx50 fridge unboxed . So I have postive and negative cable but at the bottom is a black spade not connected any body had same Sent from my SM-S901B using Tapatalk
Just had a look at the back of mine. It too has a disconnected black spade connector and has been running fine for a few years. For info, it runs much more efficiently if you operate it with the ice box removed.
Not being anything like proficient in electrickery, I consulted the instructions and seem to remember it being an extra earth for the fridge chassis ... ? Connect to earth if you must but totally unnecessary for 12v . As above , a terrific fridge but I've never used the ice box preferring to use the extra space for 'essentials' , Morretti cans seem to fit well Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
