Hi All I am new to this so please bare with me I have a 1994 VW T4 Campervan and used it for the first time a couple of weeks ago My fridge is not working the fridge is a electrolux RM 212 also my hot water does not work can anyone please suggest what might be wrong. I have tried finding someone to repair these things but have had no sucsess as yet i live in mid wales near Aberystwyth. Kind Regards Steve
What did you try the fridge on? 240v? 12v? Gas? Is the gas bottle empty? Is the valve open? Is it plugged in? Is the engine running? Is the battery flat? More info needed.
Hot water ? does it have a water heater or does it need the engine to provide heat ? If the heat is provided by LPG from cylinders, you probably need a working leisure battery to power the heaters electrics. Fridge ? does it have a leisure battery, if so is it flat ?
Is the van perfectly level? The fridge wont work unless it is and I’ve heard Wales can be on a bit of a slope.
