I can sort of see the appeal of a 2cv for a fun car, but that really is about the nicest words I can muster up for french cars! Certainly anything modern from our cheese eating friends is really best left in France

I've had a couple of 309 gti's loved them. Good fun to drive and had great handling. I would definitely have one again.

As kid i had a Gorgi model of a Citroen ds safari ..had ski's on the top if i remember or was it an estate .
I've owned 2 x 2CV's great cars that really do go through ploughed fields (drove round and round a 4x4 which was stuck in mud at Mallory Park) Owned a Citroen Xantia which I sold when it had 198000 on the clock Had a C4 Coupe diesel which was so economical in the day Now have a 208 diesel The main thing is that all of them have been really comfortable, especially the Xantia
