Hi all , could somebody tell me how i test for free play in my steering for mot >? left to right and also steering column movement in my 73 bay please , cheers
when you take a hold of your steering wheel mate and pull on in attempt to "move it" any direction ,there should be no movement ,also, take hold of steering shaft and do likewise, imo solid is best , if you are looking for a mot checklist Voltszone do one on their site .
