As in the title I have a home made late bay towing dolly, with this you can attach and drive without the need for someone to sit in the drivers seat of the bay window. It consists of a late bay front bumper with brackets bolted and welded on which you bolt on in place of the original bumper, then the towing A frame thing bolts to that, which then connects to your tow bar on your towing vehicle. Free too anyone on TLB who also gives things away for free. Been tested with an 8 hour epic drive across the states with a 6 litre truck!! Located in Newport pagnell, and just to re cap, it's free. So you tow it via the 4x M8 bolts that would normally hold the bumper on? I'd be careful with that, I've seen buses where the deformation panel would have torn off. Is this legal?
Pretty sure you could get done for unsafe load? Isn't this why vw put a towing point on these things...
I'm not sure about any legalities. Just thought someone might be able to use it for something. Anyone want it?
