  1. I had my work van in for a service 3 weeks ago.since I got it back I've had this annoying rattle and vibration type noise .This was in the space under the windscreen on top of the air intake. IMG_20190320_081950.jpg

Snap - On, I'd send it back and ask him to replace with Britool, a far more superior tool :D

  9. If it's the fitter's own then fair enough - but if not, you've provided the garage with 3 weeks of secure tool storage, that's about the same cost of a second hand ratchet wrench...............

The Snap on man calls every week. He's probably replaced it by now - I'd keep it.

  16. Give it back, but charge an hour at garage rates for removing it, fully invoiced, of course.

Snap on and Halfrauds ratchets are identical. The only difference is that on the snap on, the ratchet works on smaller increments, so doing up/ undoing things is easier.

Not the ones I’ve got they’re not!
Halford pro range are pretty good though; and they do honour the lifetime guarantee.
