THIS IS NOW SOLD. 1974 T2 Westfalia in immaculate original condition. ALL MOTS AND PAPERWORK from new including service book with local dealer stamps and full service history. I have the complete history of the van. Very rare. RHD. 3 owners. Genuine 55,000 miles on the clock. Original bodywork/paint. Always garaged NO RUST ANYWHERE. Never been welded, sound and solid. All original fixtures and fittings including awning (brown) pop-up canvas (yellow/white), checked curtains, double ring hob (working perfectly), hammock bed, table, stool, cupboards, wardrobe, cool box etc. Original Westfalia mustard interior in immaculate condition - rock n roll bed works perfectly. Sleeps 4/5 - 2 adults on rock n roll bed, 2 children in pop-up roof on solid bed deck (not shown in photos -but I have it) and there is also a hammock bed that goes over the front seat that apparently a child can sleep on (though I've never tried it!). I have put a new bit of carpet down but this is not not stuck down, just sitting over original lino flooring and could be removed. Hopper window on the sides with mosquito nets - keep the windows open at night even amongst the pine trees! Original engine in great condition (1600) incredibly reliable - I drove all around France last year without a problem. Starts first time. MOT for nearly a year, taxed for 6 months - ready to go! Flew through the MOT with just a bulb on the dashboard that needed replacing. Only modern additions are two rear seatbelts, radio/CD player and engine immobiliser. I also have made to measure silver sunshades that suction to each of the windows and keep out the sun - brilliant for camping in hot countries. Reluctant sale - moving house and need some money for associated moving costs. E-mail lisagilchrist100@hotmail.com or ring 07789 066765. Viewings available weekends - Ripley, Surrey (near A3/M25) £19,500 ONO. More photos available.
This looks superb. It was up for sale last year and if I hadn't already got my Westy Deluxe I'd have been very interested.
Yes I bought it last year, took it to two festival, two uk camping trips and a month in France! It really is a brilliant van. Sadly, finances dictate I must sell now because I am moving house which is proving costly. It needs to go to a good home - its survived this long in immaculate condition so needs someone to love it like I do!
