  1. Can't believe im doing this....but here we go.
Im unfortunately selling my 76 Viking converted panel van due to moving house. I had a double garage, now i'm only gonna have a single and its the bus thats gonna have to go :(

Im looking for £7000 for her.

So i have my 1976 Viking, converted panel van that has covered a total of 80343 documented miles.
She has the 1.6L Twinport engine fitted and what i believe to be a full viking interior.
The interior is original and is looking quite tired for its age, but we still use it and it works a treat for weekends away.
The lower deck folds out into a 3quarter double bed which is ample room for two, utilising the cushions as a matress. Very comfy!
With the roof up, you have two full length bunks, a decent area at the front and the same at the back. We used these areas for storing our kitbags.
The fabric of the awning was waterproofed last year and is nice and watertight.
The bus also has an additional hammock for kids which locates over the driver/passenger area.
It has a twin gas stove and grill which works a treat, a sink (unfortunately does not pump water up...) and a fridge. I have not attempted to use the fridge as its Gas/Electric powered and in all honesty, i don't know how it should work! It is the original Electrolux fridge.
The bus also comes with two awnings, one is pictured, the other i have never had out of the bag!
It has 240v Hookup and a number of 3pin plug sockets to use.
The bus also has a leisure battery, supplied by a split-charge system which seems to work well. This powers two strip lights inside which are very good for night time. The leisure battery could be utilised more, however it seems that the installer only rigged it up for these and they run forever, so the scope is there to adapt whatever you like from this.
The bodywork is in a good overall condition. When i took it for an MOT last year, the mechanic commented on how solid and sound it was underneath. However she is showing bits of rust on the outside now. The front panel has a couple of scabby bits coming through and so does the sliding door. The rear arches are in good condition but also show a little bit of rust also. Nothing at all serious.
The guttering around the top has certainly seen better days and could do with a repair. In all, the rust is nothing desperate or cosmetically ugly.
The deck lid hinges have been repaired and require painting as they are in primer.
She had a new OSF wheelarch before i bought her and this is in great shape, the NS one has a little rust on.
    The engine....
Now then, the engine developed an oil leak whilst on holiday....quite an oil leak, which resulted in the bus being towed home (from Newquay to Cumbria) by the AA.
I have had the engine out, refitted a flywheel oil seal and the little one behind thinking that this was the issue, fully serviced the old girl and popped it back in.
She fired immediately but the oil leak remains. Im at a loss as to what this could be.
The engine is fitted with J-tubes by the previous owner.
Whilst the engine was out i removed the fuel tank, replaced ALL fuel lines and breather connections and replaced all the rubber necks to the fuel filler cap, so no worries there.
I service the engine religiously with SAE30 Morris oil and the best points and pieces that i can get my hands on.
The window rubbers on the sides are perishing however three brand new Just Kampers seals are included to fit. I also have an engine bay air seal in the bag ready to fit.

Im pretty sure thats it.......Quite a lengthy one i know.
Any questions then please give me a shout, my e-mail is detailed below. I work unsociable hours however i will try to answer as soon as i can.
The Camper is located near Millom, Cumbria.
    Thanks for looking!
