WANTED Foot pedals belly pan

after 4 hours of driving in freezing cold to and from techenders I've decided to do something about the lack of draft proofing so I need ,

A belly pan for the pedals of my 1973 bay .

I need door seals for both driver and passengers side ( front doors only) ., not bothered about quality as I just want 1 more season of use before a respray , just want something rather than the current nothing

I am close to junction 40 M1 West Yorkshire

I am just in the process of changing my door seals. The old ones were meant to be the top quality ones from C&C but my doors never sat flush with them. They were fitted when the van was restored 4 years ago.

You can have the old ones if you cover postage. Will probably have them swapped week after next

@Sproggy4830 just an update for you, my van ate a wheel bearing over the weekend so it may take me a little longer to remove the last seal. Will be in touch once it's done though

Don't tear the ligaments in your arm undoing the big nut. It's taken me a year to recover and I can still recall the feeling of them tearing when I did mine.

 

Ouch! After the bearing failed I could undo it by hand as the tension was off the nut!

Hi all.i am looking for thoughts on this matter , so resurrected the thread

I placed the post for a bellypan, I was quickly contacted by pm by a member on here , stating he had a good one already packed up ready to post , I accepted and paid £15 postage .
On arrival the belly pan can only be described as scrap.
I have asked for a refund from the seller

The seller is active on this site and has offered many many items for sale on here ,
However
No refund has yet been received, seller has made several excuses, such as waiting for wage to go into bank , PayPal won't allow me to add money, and stating he has paid on more than one occasions

I have advised I need the money so I can source another but now it seems I am not getting any reply

Last couple of replies was to scrap the unit and he will refund the cost of the pan but almost 2 weeks later and several excuses, I've not got any reply and no refund .

Not very good for the forum to treat other , in my opinion . And I would not like others to be treat in the same manner

 

May be you should name so we don't get cough out aswell

 

It's all about making a quick buck these days, rather than helping a fellow VW owner get there bus on the road.
I know you don't want to be out of pocket, but people selling at what must be huge profits sometimes. There are those true enthusiasts that don't, but they are getting as rare as the buses.
