Got this two position illuminating fog light switch but was going to fit it to my crewcab (eventually) Stirlingmoz
Keep fishing they are out there. Hella switches were used by most German manufacturers in the past, and old mercs had them. European motor accessory shops supplied them to fit the rear fogs and fronts. Front and back switches are harder to find ask @snotty ................... You need to go to a European show near the German border. Lederhosen any body..
https://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=2044214 Bit pricey, don't know how much a switch is worth.
And that’s not even a true fog light switch ! I think that’s a heated rear window switch with a fog logo on the front. The Hella illuminated fog light switch is about the size of the light switch (see my pic above) and has two positions so you can switch front and rear fogs independently. If you’re going to pay top dollar, make sure you get the right switch. Stirlingmoz
https://www.bus-ok.de/ had them but now showing out of stock. they also list the switch as a fog light OR heated rear window switch. I think the big switch does front and rear fog lights . You could always use a porsche one like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649 not orange but still looks the part.
There’s 2 different ones, single one as in the samba add for rear fog light and the dual ones for front and rear fogs, the dual ones are pretty rare the singles not so much
There was a guy on TheSamba selling the inserts a while ago. I don't know if he's still on there but he was from either Greece or Cyprus. I think that they were about 8-10 Euros.
I can make you a resin dome sticker to put on whatever switch. I'm going to use the Hella switches from JK and do just that.
