If I get stuck in a flood with my lowered bay Im snookered, and living in Shropshire it is an issue.

BUT as can be seen from this pic

OK guys. this is dealt with. he/she may be one of the people involved in losing their possessions/home in the flooding

this thread could be deemed quite insensitive if you think about it!

  13. I'll reiterate what dog says. Can we excersise some restraint until we have the full details.
    Thanks

  14. Lock the thread then. It's not as if the mods here are shy about using their powers

  15. The poor guy who owns that van could be on another Forum and reading all this.....

I don't know about the rest of you but I feel for this guy.
That T3/T25 is probably his pride & joy so to have it disparaged by other members of the VW community hurts, I might slag off T3/T25s but I own one & enjoy driving it.

  18. Hopefully the van will be ok...

I had my syncro a fair bit deeper than that, and it was fine once dried out!
Still can't help but feel sorry for them - looking at the house, I would imagine the van is the least of their worries.

  19. All a bit sensitive,, at the end of the day it's a van in a puddle! lighten up. ::) ::)
