  1. OK, im fitting a gear shifter plate, all came apart really easy, getting it back together, lol, anyone have any vids or pics on which way the shifter sits into and just under the floor pan, thanks. I am stuck :(

  2. Not mine but from another post by @zedders

Fit the plate with the Long bit on right.
You have sprung pin through ball, lean stick back so head of pin hits socket wall keeping/pushing the pin in place while you lean in forwards to locate other end of the pin in the slot.

    It may help

  3. Arrggg, fitting a stock shifter is a pain in the arse. Basically you go into reverse hard left so it needs the little extra bit of metal to avoid accidentally going into reverse instead of second.

If you're adding a quick shifter plate it has two long screws, but they're a right pain to get into place, push the stick with the ball and pin down into the right place and line up the screws to get into the holes.

  4. Just fitted my old one now. Chucked away the newish JK one been in there 2years. Horrible horrible. Didn't work at all. I've glued my old,one back together using old Pepsi can tin on a template and some straps. Performing as it used to. Wow!
