    Didn't see the programme, but....
I've done a lot of work in this building, and saw the tank go in and get filled. It is amazing to see it full of fish now!

When it was completed in March 2011 Heron Tower was the tallest building in the City of London, a title soon snatched from it by the ludicrously lofty Shard - which trumps the building at 110 Bishopsgate standing at 309.7 metres to Heron Tower's mere 230 metre height. Most striking from street level is the triple height fish tank - the largest privately owned aquarium in Europe - which includes live sharks among the 67 different species swimming about. The tank is cared for by two full-time attendants and they employ divers to clean the rocks and windows twice a week. As well as offices - most of which are split into three storey 'villages' - there are three cafes and restaurants in the building: The Drift on the ground floor; SushiSamba up on the 38th and 39th floors; andDuck & Waffle above that right at the top of the building, both of which opened in the summer of 2012.
