Takes me back a few years I once raced my tarmac reversed barrel TZ 250 out fit on the grass, when I wasn't digging holes it went like greased weasel poo. IIRC I had a second place. Smart folks used YZ or RM motors.
It was good on short circuit tarmac (I'm talking 30 years ago) but then the Rotax's and loads of dosh arrived. I only entered a grass meeting for a laugh, I used rotovator tyres after removing all the bodywork. Grass racers were a lot freer with their rules and it was good fun.
