Slept in the bus for the first time last night but it wasn't quite how I'd planned it. Go out mountain biking every Thursday night and end up in the pub, quite a few of my good mates out last night so it turned into a bit of a session, rode home at 1am and realised I'd forgotten my keys! Didn't want to wake anyone and the camper was unlocked , had just bought new foam for the bed the other day not covered it yet so settled down in damp clothing with freezing wet feet, got some stockinet the for covering the foam and the rear vinyl load cover as a blanket, annoyingly theres a duvet in the back of my car on its way to the textile bank, but my car was locked,no curtains, back pack as a pillow. Sent the wife a text cos I knew she keeps it by the bed on silent saying where I was, slept like a log till 5 when she came and banged on the window, Stupid £&"?er I think she said. Bloody cold night last night even colder tonight, especially in Blackpool I think, have fun!❄
Haha brilliant, we will be taking lots of duvets and a heater, all will be just fine hehe as said before, story to remember hehe x
Reminds me of the time 4 of us were forced by circumstances (no 24hr petrol stations) to sleep in the back of a transit van sandwiched between 2 sheets of hardboard with a large dog on top ;D.
I had a similar experience in he other halves car several years back on New Years eve, drew straws on who was driving,i one so i thought then :.Had a whale of a night,misbehaived went on a crawl with some of the others fell in a hole (road works) managed to get out with help of mates killing self laughing.Driven home by not happy other half , fell asleep woke up 4 in morning freezing my manhood off . Couldnt get in house so went back in car till gone nine when door opened and was told That will teach you : ??? Must remember to leave spare key too camper handy and sheepskin duvet init during winter just incase . Glad you survived ,they are so forgiving sometimes eh ;D
