Finding Old Camper PLT 217R

  1. Anyone own this tin top PLT 217R on here? Just wondering if its still running around and any pics.

    This is what it looked like before I sold her.... Would be interested to hear anything

    I imported and reg'd mine so I know it anyway but cheers! Nowt else I'd like to know about cars I have now but I'd like to find RPY393G it's my fav old Landy but it's sorn/no mot so don't sound good...

    Yeah, most of the latter info is me, I owned it 3 times lol. I sold it last to someone localish and they sold it on and it's off the radar now sorn and untaxed

  18. @alpha981 question. In your experience, as it was CAT C'd July 2006 then change of keeper again in October 2006 is that to reflect the insurance company/breaker taking ownership of it or is it possible someone purchased it and rebuilt it and still own it?

I would say it's actually been bought by someone rather than broken in trade, anytime a vehicle changes hands in trade it doesnt add any ownership, so if the insurance company sold the car on to a dismantler then this wouldnt show. It is possible that someone bought the car and then subsequently broke it - or equally it could be up on bricks under a tarp on someones drive!
