Finally getting Rhubarbs cab area to my liking !

i glossed over a few things when posting stuff up on Rhubarbs resto , one of the things i was reluctant to refer to was - the absolutely mess of a cab area , the po had hand painted the dash and og 72 seats , he added a steering wheel that would be more suited to the dinky model i have in the window and slapped black bitumen like paint all around the seat tubs and floor pans - it has been a mare getting the cab area clear of all this crud and looking something like it did when it left the factory , it is nowhere near but here is the progress thus far --

i began with a cab area that looked like this -





Today i put in some original cab mats that Pmacs collected from dubfreeze for me and i fainally feel as if i am getting somewhere - i know there is still some to do but - slowly slowly catchy monkey -










i chose later westy seats for the head restraints , i would have kept the og ones but that paint job man ?





Thats not fading on the material its my camera giving up - i am happier now it is looking something like !

yes very grippy - mine is leather btw

We have one each - Port and brandy Lou's side , Malt on mine , mine was in the kitchen being refilled when i took that picture .
