I think the ferret would be quite content, roaming inside your bus as long as it had a safe place to sleep/retreat to when it wanted peace n quiet. My mum rescued a ferret and it lived in it's cage inside the house. She used to keep the cage door open and the ferret had free run of her front room. It was litter trained and lived a happy life until it died. It was sociable because she would play with it every day and it had toys to keep it's mind active too. Yours would have a great life especially if you were working it. Their poo does really stink though! J
a dog will let you know when it wants out for a pee, a ferret will just pee everywhere and the smell is disgusting! pure ammonia
