Fabrication advice on sliding door

Afternoon all.

I'm replacing the skin and internal lower frame due to rust love.

The upright structure as highlighted in the pic is rather rubbish in multiple areas. Has anyone changed these before.. I assume you would have to make something yourself

You can buy inner and outer repair panels

 

As above. The inner panel only comes up part way though so you may need to make up some small repairs too. I’d clean it up thoroughly as some of that is probably saveable and is just surface rust.

I have the outer skin and lower edge repair panels.. Just can't seem to find those upright edges anywhere...

You will have to make up the edge pieces.. a good chance to test your fabrication skills.
