I've read the report... I wonder whether I wasn't far off thinking that the Ferrari was built for monza! What other way could massa pull third from? He's been a proper stevie wonder driving a donkey all year
R.I.P. Prof Sid Watkins. The man who, arguably, did more for F1 safety than any other person. http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/2012/09/the-great-prof-watkins-passes-away/
Hey all. You heard it here first. There's nothing official yet. But it's becoming more clear now who'll be the Mercedes AMG GP drivers in 2013 and 2014. Hamilton and Schumacher. Sorry. Let me rephraze that. Schumacher and Hamilton. Apparently, Rosberg was always the one likely to be replaced. The dumb media missed that completely. In [glow=red,2,300]FACT[/glow], Rosberg's been in talks with McLaren. No word on whether or not he's going to take Hamilton's seat, but it's looking likely. A straight swap, then.
That would be interesting to see them in equal cars. Who's best? There's only one way to find out. Shame Schumacher appears a little past his best.
It's all hotting up this morning! Hamilton has signed for Mercedes GP. Perez has signed for McLaren. Some gossip says Schumie will now retire. Personally, I doubt that very much. I think it's more likely, if Rosberg's not leaving Mercedes GP, then Schumie will be off to Ferrari for one year, being replaced by Vettel in 2014. All should be revealed later today!
Just seen the BBC news report on Schumies future... I reckon there's a clue in the picture - Beetle Cup anyone? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/19800460
Very suprised. Gutted in fact. But I've already decided who I'll be supporting from 2013. Perez. He and Alonso have something just that little bit special than everyone else.
Thought i'd restart this as we haven't commented for a few races, 4 to go vettel or alonso? mathematically possible for a few others but unlikely, i'm not fussed as i don't really like either of them, currently watching the build up on a live stream, got the hang of this "free" sport now who needs to pay for sky?
think you're right....... still what can you do? boring race though i've had it on but kept flicking to other screens as well while on the laptop
Yep, that was one probably the most boring race of the year. Goes back to the old overtaking arguement, how do get more, seems like the perelli have stopped their aboility to make drivers make 3-4 stops, that was one thing that made it really interesting.
