F1 style engine and gearbox drop for dubfreeze

So this week I pulled the gearbox to reseal it. I used crap sealant and it leaked.

I have since redone it and took it for a test drive last night. STILL LEAKING (and probably worse)

So today I think I am going to pull it all again and redo the sealant.

Camping closes at 2100 tonight.

Can I make it?

I reckon it will be done by 7.35 tonight

 

It's out and split, quick tea break and food and them it will be split gearbox, reseal and refit!!

Good luck and check those mating faces for any dings or dents(I remember years ago doing a BSA Bantam engine which had been split a couple of times before and previous people had missed some bruising on the mating faces, a quick dressing and it sealed a treat)
